MCF FARIBAULT - FOOD SERVICE
MCF Faribault's recent expansion included a new food service building that allows the facility to consolidate all meals being served to one location (with the exception of those meals needing to be delivered directly to inmates). The new food service and dining facility includes a receiving/storage area for all supplies, a full service food preparation area and two cafeteria style dining areas. The dining area will service 1,200 meals per shift and 3 shifts per day for a total of 3,600 meals a day. Klein McCarthy worked closely with the facility staff and a food service consultant to ensure that the physical space and queuing concept would be as efficient and flexible as possible.
