BROWN COUNTY JAIL & LAW ENFORCEMENT CENTER
New Ulm, MN
The Brown County Jail and Law Enforcement Center project began with a preliminary architectural program and feasibility study by Klein McCarthy Architects to improve the facilities at the existing Courthouse Square.
The project included a 50 bed full-service Jail, County Sheriff's Department and City Police Department Law Enforcement facilities. Among the improvements was the relocation of all courts related facilities to the third level of the existing building and the re-allocation of former courts into other department spaces on the first and second levels. Klein McCarthy Architects also conducted a Courthouse planning study and recommended improvements to secure inmate transfer for courts operations.
