POLK COUNTY NEEDS ASSESSMENT STUDY
Klein McCarthy Architects was commissioned by Polk County to develop a program and design for a Jail and Courtroom complex. With Richard Rude Architectural and a team of engineers, KMA led a "hands-on" client team from programming concepts to bidding.
Klein McCarthy balanced the competing concerns of the Tri-County Commission to achieve a program that met the needs of all parties. Throughout the Needs Assessment, the team helped clarify the top priorities to ensure that those priorities were met and that no one voice dominated the final product. The conceptual planning translated so well to the real world that the subsequent project was able to be fully designed and detailed in only seven months.
