BELTRAMI County Jail

The proposed Beltrami County Jail consists of a 243-bed class III jail facility with associated support spaces.

The new facility is planned to replace the County's outdated three level jail located downtown.  The new facility will be located approximately 2.5 miles from the Courthouse.  The new facility is planned for one level with tier construction and will allow for future housing expansion.

Three housing pods are planned to accommodate the multiple inmate classifications required.  Mental health units are included as well as multiple counseling and programming spaces.
