As Phase 1 of a planned multi-phase Law Enforcement Center and Jail expansion project, this building provides 911 Dispatch and Jail Master Control on a remote site. The unique building supported the county's move to the 800 Mhz communications system and also provided appropriate space for both Dispatchers and Radio Equipment. A new 192' communication tower is located adjacent to the building. Throughout the project, a complex series of redundancies, security systems and highly efficient mechanical controls create a sophisticated data center as well as a comfortable and functional environment for Dispatch staff.
