Itasca County Jail and Courts Addition and Remodel

After programming and  masterplanning, the County selected the downtown site adjacent to the existing Courthouse for their new jail and courts addition.  The Project includes a jail with a designed capacity of 194 beds, courts and supporting functions, State and County Probations and various county supporting functions.

The Jail includes a designated mental health pod with seven housing units with multiple classifications and supporting programming area for small groups and one on one counseling.

Construction on phase one has concluded this Spring on the addition and work will move into renovating portions of the existing government center.
